Student Director Elected to UConn Foundation Board
STORRS, Conn.— UConn sophomore Perry Wasserbauer (Class of 2013) of Canton, Connecticut has been elected to a two-year term as a Student Director of the University of Connecticut Foundation Board of Directors. His term of office begins immediately.

The Student Director position on the UConn Foundation Board of Directors is a fantastic opportunity for UConn students to receive real-world leadership experience, help the University of Connecticut thrive, and contribute to the ultimate success of its $600-million fundraising campaign, Our University. Your willingness to take on this important role is a positive reflection of your commitment and character. On this Web page, you will find links below to material with instructions you should carefully review in order to establish your candidacy. These materials are as follows:

Election Timeline – this document presents a basic timeline of the election process. The most important initial date to remember is that your candidacy forms, bios/statements, and photo are due to the Student Activities Office, Rm. 302, Student Union by 12:00 Noon on March 17, 2011.

Student Director Responsibilities – for those seeking candidacy for the Student Director position, this document outlines in greater detail what is expected of individuals in this role.

Intent to Run Form – verifies your intentions to seek office, provides contact information, requests biographical information, and a photograph.

Campaign Rules – this document specifies what is and is not permissible, specific requirements, procedures etc. Please be advised that any violation of campaign rules and/or procedures could result in the termination of your candidacy.

Petition of Nomination – requires that you collect signatures and the PeopleSoft numbers (for verification purposes) from 50 + 1% of the registered UConn students at your home campus. Any registered UConn student at any campus may sign your petition.

Financial Statement – this document is provided for you to record campaign receipts and expenditures.
